STONE TILE BACKSPLASH

such as granite, slate, travertine, marble, limestone
or soap stone. Depending on the type that your tile
installer is setting, his knowledge of the correct
sealant is paramount for the best tile installation.
Also the type of mortar (thinset) is critical to the
installation since bleeding through the stone can
result when the wrong type of thin set is used.
Mastic or tile glue is strongly discouraged when
installing stone tiles.
