The variety in marble is wide with origins from
quarries around the world.
Remodeling your master bathroom using marble is a
wise choice since the added value to your residence
is increased substantially.
I wanted to give this space a spa like feel by
introducing elements of nature to the bathroom
design and at the same time adding contemporary
touches.
The marble pictured here is Italian Botticino Marble.
The finish chosen was a tumbled tile which gives the
effect of an aged look to the material. The edges are
cushioned not sharp or squared. This gives it the
tumbled marble look.
Veining in Botticino Marble is minimal with some
cavities that are filled with grout during the
bathroom tile installation process.

project originally had the marble tile stop at the bath
tub.
The homeowner loved the tile installation and design
so much that he added more tile to the bathroom
design. I also added glass tile to trim the wainscot
and bathroom vanity back splash.
